Simon is a consultant endocrinologist who has moved from Brisbane in 2020. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland. He went on to complete physician training and specialist endocrinology training at Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, the largest tertiary referral hospital in Queensland. Simon has interests in education and clinical research and is undertaking a research higher degree (MPhil) via UQ in phaeochromocytomas and paragangliomas.
Simon has a keen interest in assisting people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including newer therapies and technology. He can help with insulin pumps and injectables, continuous glucose monitoring devices, oral medications and lifestyle modification.
He also sees patients with a full range of endocrine conditions including pituitary, thyroid and adrenal disorders, male and female sex hormone disorders, osteoporosis and calcium problems. Simon consults for HeartWest at Essendon, Williamstown and Altona North.
