Dr Michael Jones is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, having undertaken advanced cardiology training at the Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, and St Vincents hospital Sydney. He subsequently pursued subspecialty training in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiac device implantation at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, British Columbia, Canada, and then the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, United Kingdom, where he gained further experience in complex ablation (Atrial Fibrillation, Ventricular tachycardia) and also conducted clinical research studies in ablation, and cardiac resynchronisation device therapy.

He performs a broad range of electrophysiology procedures and device implantation, with a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation and clinical research.

He consults in Hoppers Crossing, St Albans, Essendon, Sunbury and Roxburgh Park, and he performs procedures at the Western Private and Epworth Hospitals.
